What’s This Movie Rated, Anyway?
At the moment, Elusive doesn’t have an MPA rating (G, PG, PG-13, R), but we’re currently going through that very process!
In the meantime, we’ve made this nifty content guide to help you make an informed decision for you and your family:
Strong language throughout
The strongest language has been bleeped for comedic effect.
Sexual dialogue and situations
No nudity, but the filmmakers can confirm some parts of the movie are very awkward to watch with your grandmother.
For kids under 13, we personally wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re cool with answering a lot of awkward questions.
Teenagers 13-16, maybe.
It’d still be pretty awkward if we’re being honest, but you know your kids better than we do.
If you haven’t already, watch the teaser trailer on our About page to get an idea of what you’d be in for.
(If you saw it on Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube, this version doesn’t have the black boxes over the bed.)
Depictions of drug use
Some scary moments
It’s like a particularly spooky episode of Scooby-Doo, except everyone is Shaggy.
In summary, we personally think our movie skews more 17+ in terms of its target audience, and if you have kids of any age, we definitely recommend you check out the movie for yourself first. But as with any movie, it’s ultimately up to you.
